Baby Collodion (Bayi Kodion)

A collodion baby born in Langsa General Hospital was reported and later was hospitalized in the Subderparment of Perinatology, Langsa General Hospital, East Aceh. The baby was a girl, one day of age, without any history of genetic diseases in the family. The collodion membrance covered her entire body. The disease is a rare congenital ichthysiform dermatoses inherited usually apparent at birth. In the management of this case, specific attention was given to the fluid loss and infection, no specific therapy was give for the skin.
