Profil Remisi Epilepsi Onset Anak-Anak (Profiles of Remission Among Childhod-Onset Epilepsy)

Epilepsy is one of the major neurological diseases in childhood with cmplex problems, Knowledge on epilepsy prognosis and its prognostic factors are very important for providing adequate information and management planning. This study included 110 epilepsy patients-42,7% female 57,3% female. Six-month remission within 2 years medication was achieved in 86 patients (78,2%). The significant predictive factors for not achieving 6-month remission was achieved by 48 patients (43,6%). Te significant predictive factors for not achieving 12-month remission were high frequency pre-treat-ment seizure, presence of neurological deficit, and noncomlince.
