Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Penerimaan Masyarakat terhadap Bacilus thuringiensis H-14 sebagai Pengendali Vektor Demam Berdarah dengue di Salatiga, Jawa Tengah (A Study on Knowledge, Attitudes and Community Aceptance on Bacilus thuringiensis H-14 to Control Dengue Vector in Salatiga, entral Java)

The control of Aedes aegypti larvae could be carried out with Bacillus thuringiensis H-14 as biolarvacide which was more safety for the environment and did not cause resistance. However, the community had less information about the bacteria and guidance of the use. The aim of this resarch was to know the level of knowledge and community on B thuringiensis H-14 to the community, Evaluation of the intervention was measured twice by interview with questionnaire before and after counseling. The result has shown that there was no difference between knowledge and atitude towards the dengue control before and after counseling with the value t respectively 0.70 and 1.11 in the level of the significance 5% and 1%. However, community knowledge about the used of B thuringiensis H-14 after the intervention increased significantly. The community’s acceptance on B. thuringiensis H-14 after the intervention increased significantly. The community’s acceptance on B. Thuringiensis H-14 after the intervention increased significantly. The community ‘s acceptance on B. thuringiensis H-14 was very good and prepared to receive, but the community could not carry out the dispersion B. thuringiensis H-14 by their-self because they difficult to get the biolavacide.
