Hubungan Kualitas Bakteriologis Peralatan Makan dengan Kejadian Diare di Puskesmas Sukaresmi, Cianjur, Jawa Barat, 2005

The incident of diarrhea found in communiy still quite high and mortality due to diarrhea take bigger part on cause of death in Indonesia. To evaluate the relation between Escherichia coli bacteriological quality of infant utensil of eating, enviroment risk factor and other risk factor with incident of infant diarrhea disease within working area of Puskesmas Sukaresmi at Cianjur District, Province West Java Year 2005. Cross Sectional design researches is used, with working population is all infant below five years old and domicile within working area of Puskesmas Suka resmi in Cianjur District, Province West Java. Total sample were taken 150 samples and data were collected by sismetic cluster random sampling, with prepared sampling frame. The respondents are mothers withinfant below 5 years old. Bacteriological quality of infant utensil of eating was determined by the presence of Escherichia coli whih judged using total plate count method utilize gel media EMBA (Eosin Methylen Ble Agar) and 25◦c incubator and counted using colony counter. Analysis bivariat with chi square proportional differential differential test. Analysis bivariat result show that bacteriological quality of infant utensils of eating has no effect with infant diarrhea incidents, however the below standard gabage dumpster and kulah water condition altogether with poor mothers individual hygienehas effect. Conclusion; Its deem necessary to conclusions; Its deemnecessary to continually improve community knowledge on good individual hygiene through various available media and giving a stimulant of the exile garbage and administer some form of stimuland such as model on hygienic qualified gabage dumpster facility guidance on method of good kulah water usage along with mpacts by continuosly and sustainability. Education and monitoring of diarrhea incidents which in volve intergrated cross program and inter sector participation is neded inorder to promote. Beside that its also necessary to conduct similar research but with stronger design research approach such as case control o cohort tud, also wih increase on numbers of variable which has substantial effect.
