Topical Therapy of Tinea Cruris with 1 Percent Terbinafin Cream during One Week Compare with 1 Percent Bifonazol Cream during 3 Weeks at Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung (Pengobatan Tinea Kruris secara Topikal dengan Krim Terbinafin 1 selama 1 Minggu Dibandingkan dengan Krim Bifonazol 1 selama 3 Minggu di RSUP. Investigation has been performed on 2 groups of patients suffering from with method. Group A consists of 19 patients treated with for 3 weeks, compared with group B of 19 patients treated with for 1 week. There is a significant difference in the sex composition of the two groups. There are more women in group A, while in group B there are more men (p=0.021). 55.3 percent of those patients came after suffering the disease for 1-6 months. T. rubrum, T. spesies and E. floccosum were found on culture examination. On evaluation of skin abnormality such as erythema, papules and squama that were observed seen after the first week of treatment, group B showed more improvement. Although evaluation of (direct + culture) in the third week showed negative in group A, 3 patients in group B were still positive. However, the overall treatment effectiveness was better in group B. After one week, pruritus, erythema and papules in group B showed faster improvement.
