Model Pelayanan Stroke terpadu di Rumah Sakit Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Surabaya

Stroke or brain attack is basically brain dysfunctionas the effect of disparity on vascular circulation of the brain that caused by various factors. The basic aspect of the brain are inf;uenced b various factors. The basic physiology and psychology aspects of the stroke is essential to understand, especially the correlation to underlying diseases and psychological stress as a social trigger aspect phenomenon. Although stroke could occur at all ages, generaly it atacks adult people, and its as a social triger aspect phenomenon. Although stroke could occur at all ages, generally recognize the symptoms of stroke incidence is increasing at the older groups. Considering doctor needs to propmtly recognize the symptoms of stroke incidence is increasing at the older age groups. Considening doctor needs to propmtly recognize the symptoms of troke including its problems, as to manage the problems and to prevent are the most important things to do. The Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Hospital of Surabaya has built the Pelayanan Stroke Terpadu (PST) as a system to manage stroke patients which composed of a stroke team specialists who work in prompt responses, prompt treatments and prompt rehabilitation. The PAT was developed based on experiences on stroke patients treatment during 12 year period (1994-2006) in Adi Husada Hospital Surabaya and the data of computerized axial tomography comparing-year 1995 to 2006 (pre-program of the PST condition).
