Hubungan Diabetes Mellitus dengan Kejadian Pre Eklamsi pada Ibu Hamil

Diabetes mellitus may induce types of deleterious impacts. The maternal deleterious impacts include the increasing tendency for pre eklamsi incidents as much as four times. The URJ Hamil I RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya in 2005 has recirded 0,5% of diabetes mellitus incidents which have led to pre eklamsi. Although the percentage is uite small, the complications which accurred during pregnancy, delivery ad post natal were uite significant. The objecof this observation was to understand the relationship of diabetes mellitus and incidence of pre eklamsi among pregnant mother registered in URJ Hamil I RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This was an analytical investigation using a cross sectional design, concertrating on a sample of 27 respondents drawn from the population using a probability sampling techniue. Secondary data were retrieved from existing medical records using a probability sampling techniue. Secondary data were retrieved from existing medical records using data collection sheets. Results of the study indicated a relationship between diabetus mellitus with incidence of pre eklasi, and there was also a relationship between types of diabetes with uncidence of pre eklamsi.
