Pengaruh Frekuensi Penyuntikan Depo MPA terhadap Penuunan Libido pada Akseptor KB Suntik Depo MPA

Fertile couples using contraceptive methods should have no problems in having sexual intercourse including the fear of geting pregnant. However, after sometimes, the use of hormon based contraceptive may have some influence on one’s libido. This study was designed as cross sectional analyses to investigate the impacts of DEPO MPA injections on declining on declining libido among family planning participans administered with Depo MPA injections. The population to be studied included all family planning participants using injected contraceptive in the operational area of Puskesmas Tambelangan Sampang. A total of 977 individuls were targeted in the study, but samples were selected from the population using simple random sampling echniue, and a total 284 individuals were recruited based on acceptable calculation. Result of te observation were calculated using chi suare test at a significant level of (α) = 0,000 resulted in a calculated X²value of = 53,98, which was larger than table derived X² value of = 3,841. The study concluded that there was an influence of freuent injection of depo medroksi progesteron asetat on libido decline among family planning participants using depo medroksi progesteron asetat injections
