Early Post operative pain on laparatomy and appendectomy patients needs to be attended, since the pain may induce disturbances on metabolism and blood circulation such as variations in blood pressure, pilse and profusion, breathing difficulty, hindrace of wound healing, and may induce shock. Early post operative pain acurs folowing termination of general anesthetic treatment through Inhalation until patients are transfered to the recovery room. The time when the pain begins and dengue of the pain wil vary, to be influenced by various factors, such as due to an operative procedure. The objective of this study was to examine variation of the time of onset and the dengue of the pain among laparatomy and appendectomy patients who underwent general anaesthetical propocedure through inhalation. The study followed an analytical design on a population of patients who just completed laparatomy and appendectomy operation preceded by general anaesthetical procedure through inhalation. The study took place at the recovery room of the RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya hospital. The research sample under study included 26 laparatomy patients and 18 appendectomy patients, selected from the population using simple random sampling technique. The Mann Whitney U test indicated that there was no significant difference at the p value of 0,718 (p>0,05) while in the case of the degree of the pain, there was asionificant difference at the p value of 0,047 (p
