Gambaran Karies Berdasarkan Frekuensi Topikal Aplikasi Larutan NaF pada Siswa Kelas VI SDN yang Mandapatkan Pelayanan Asuhan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut

Caries is know as a decase of the teeth shich is caused by an active microorganism on the carbohydrate through the fermentation process. Fluor has an antibacterial characteristic which can block the formation of enzyme which produces by the bacteria than causes the caries. The endurance of the enamel towards the acid attack can be enlarged by the process of combining a small amount of ion fluor with crystal apatite. The purpose of this research is to know caries description based on the frequency of topical application of NaF 1% on the student of grade VI that received health care service of teeth. While the benefit of this research is to be used as an imput for the Health care of teeth programmer in the effort to increase the quality of the program. The result of the research had shown that the effort to increase the frequency of topical application. While the teeth that were always attacked by caries were the lower left permanent molar teeth. It’s advised for the programmer to pay attention to the instruction of application of NaF 1% so that it can be used appropriately according to the instruction on how to use it.
