Potensi Ekstrak Buah Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) sebagai Antioksidan dalam Pengaturan Profil Lipid Mencit (Anyioxidant Effect of Mahkota Dewa Fruit's (Phaleria mcrocarpa) Extract on Mice Lipid Profile Regulation)
The objective of this study was to know the effect of mahkota dewa (phaleria macrocarpa) Fruit’s extract as antioxidant on regulation of mice lipid profile. The specific objective focused on the decreasing effects of kolesterol total level and kolesterol-LDL level on mice. This research used Completely Randomyzed Design in 30 male mice on 20-25 gram body weight, which divided into 5 group and gave 6 times treat repetition. Group of treatment were divided into two parts. First, two groups for control, which contains of negative control (P0-)and positive control (P0+). Negative control is group which given standard feed and water and oositive control is group which given high fat feeding and water. Secondly, three group treated by high fat feeding and mahkota dewa extract (P1,P2,P3) by oral for five weeks with doses 25,50, 100 mg/kg body weigh, respectively. The blood sample taken by intracardial. The data were analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan’s test to compare group. Based on the data analysis, there were a significance differences (p0,05) was no significant. In conclusion, the best effect to decrease in P0- and P3 group (>0,05) was no significant. In conclusion, the best effect to decrease total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol blood levels can be achieved by dose of 100 mg/kg body weight.
