Peran Peptida YY pada Regulasi Homeostasis Energi The role of Peptide YY in Homeostasis Energy Regulation
Regulation of energy homeostasis is well coordinated in hypothalamus that influence food intake and energy expenditure. The lateral nuclei hypothalamus is a hunger centre an ventromedial nucle hypothalamus is a satiety centre. Beside that, there are dorsomedial paraventricular nuclei and arcuatum nucle which also influence food intake. There are proopiomelanocortin (POMC) nuclei and neuron which produce neuropeptide Y (NPY) and angouti-related protein (AGRP) in the arcuatum nucle POMC activation decrease food intake and increase energy expenditure, apposite NPY-AGRP. Hypothalamus accept neural and chemical signals from tractus digestivus origin YY Peptide (PYY) is enteroendocrine hormone colocalized and cosecretion with GLP-1 L cell in gastrointestinal tract, mainly in ileum and colocalized and cosecretion with GLP-1 by L cell in gastrointestinal tract, mainly in ileum and colon PYY are secreted as physiological response caused by high lipid and caloin intake. Role of PYY in short term energy regulation beside in peripher, also central in hyperthalamus. PYY inhibit gaster acid secretion and pancreatic juice also inhibit intestinal motility. In the hypothalamus, PYY mediate Y2 receptor which much expressed in NPY neurons arcuatum nuclei inhibit food intake.
