Penggunaan Antikanker Sari Buah Merah (Pandanus conoideus) terhadap Kultur Sel Meloma Anticancer Effect of Red Fruit's (Pandanus conoideus) On Myloma Cell Culture
The red fruit (Pandanus conoideus) has been reported as useful traditional anticancer agent but not scientifically proven. The aim of this study was to test the in vitro cytotoxic effect of the red fruit’s extract on cell culture of mueloma. The concentrations of red fruit extract used were 5,2,5. 1.25, 0.625 and 0.312 mg/ml. Methanol was used as solution control in five different concentrations (10; 5; 2.5; 1.25; and 0.625) mg/ml while RPMI was used as negative control. The solution was added into the myloma cell culture in microwell plate and incubated for 24 hours at 37ºC in CO2 incubator. The anticancer activity was determined using the viability of myeloma cell. The data showed that the extract of red fruit (pandanus conoideus) has a weak antcancer activity when the extract caused significant (p
