Persepsi Masyarakat terhadap Ketanggapan pada Jangkauan Pelayanan Kesehatan di Puskesmas Kabupaten Organ Komering Ilir, Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2006
Study about community perception towards health system responsiveness I health centers has been conducted in Organ Komering Ilir (OKI) District, South Sumatera, April 2006. Study design was a cross-sectional study. Sample was the out patients at 10 puskesmas representing the total 20 existing puskesmas. Qualitative data was collected implementing exit interviews and secondary data collection. Data was analyzed using uni-variate and descriptive tabulation. In additiojn, data with regard to respondents perception was analyzed using scoring system. Study results showed that the availability of skilled and professional health personnel was far more than enough as refers to the national standard. The population in OKI district was unequally distributed and differs geographically. There were three health centers located in the remote areas and across the rivers. It can not be accessed by bus/car, except boat that has been un-frequently scheduled. Health system responsiveness was good and satisfaction; that was perception on health centers performance (scored 78.96), access and quality of services (scored 84.81), performance of health prowiders (scored 82.57), and patients satisfactions (Scored 67.61). Most of the respondents said they will come over again to the same health centers as they get ill. This study can be use as a model of health centers achievements and can be duplicate intensively to other districts in Indonesia especially during the decentralization era.
