Promosi Kesehatan Melalui Penumbuhkembangan Polindes Bagi Masyarakat Miskin di Pedesaan Analisis Situasi dalam Rangka Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS)

The health promotin of the community especially in vilages was absolutely needed in National. Movement of making Pregnancy Safer. The objective of this was the health promotion through the development of polindes for the poor community in villages in the framework of making pregnancy safer. This study was descriptive explorative; location by East Java and East Lasser Sundas (NTT) province. The samples were selected purposively, there are Kupang Regency and from each sub district ten or less vilage delivery house (polindes) were selected. Data collection was conduced structured interview and FGD. The unit of analysis in this research was polindes and the analysis was conducted descriptively. The results shows that most of the polindes manpower were vilage midwifes. The condition of the facility was clean but the equipment was not sufficient and the polindes was not every midwile kit. The drug in polindes has not met the standart and most all of the polindes expenses become the responsibility of thr govemmen and the utilization priority does not balance. Many people said polindes as vilage clinic center yet some have already known the real function of polindes. The vilage midwiles were considered as competent but most of the patient in polindes were free from any free, and it they have to pay, the fee was very cheap.
