Sampling
It has been printed out many times that sampling is very important in describing a population, even using a quota sampling technique is not adequate to draw a conclusion on the situation. To obtain result which may represent a population a technique such as probability sampling has to be used. In this technique each sample unit taken from the population has an equal chance and probability to be selected as a member of the samples. A good sample should be non-bias, efficient, consistent and sufficient and the number of samples should be adequate as too large number will be highly costed and too small number will give a false estimation.
