A cross-sectional study about respiratory symptoms and lung function test Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR) had been conducted on pasukan kuning. Pasukan kuning is Surabaya public cleaning service who works on the air-polluted area. It was compared with the other employee who work in administration division, or as supervisor. It was found that pasukan kuning have three months cough and wheezing more than those of non pasukan kuning employee (p less than 0.05). The respiratory symptoms on pasukan kuning followed by the significant decrease of respiratory function PEFR. This condition was not found on non pasukan kuning employee.
