Oral Health Status on Students at Three Elementry Schools in Tahuna- North Sulawesi (Status Kesehatan Mulut pada Tiga Sekolah Dasar di Tahuna - Sulawesi Utara)

Dental and mouth health problem in elementary school which need to be controlled is mouth hygiene and its related with periodontal and caries dentis disease. A cross-sectional study was conducted three elementary school among students at first, second and third degree in Tahuna, Sangihe Talaud Regency, Province at North Sulawesi. The study objective is to collect the data base as periodontal and caries dentis diseases, and it relationship with students mouth health behavior, parents education, parents job and students nutritional status. The prevalence of gingivitis, calculus... and caries dentis in this study are, 14.2 percent; 87.7 percent and 49.0 percent, which is 1.20. Gingivitis especially at right at lower left side (80.3 percent). From clinical epidemilogy aspect, the program should be perioritized for 9 years old group of student.
