The Distribution of Malaria Vector in Lampung Province (Penyebaran Vektor Malaria di Propinsi Lampung)

A study on distribution of malaria vector was conducted in the malaria endemic area in Lampung Province from 1979 to 1992. The results showed that Anopheles sundaicus was found predominatly at lagoon in the coastal area of Southand Central Lampung subdistricts. Anopheles aconitus were found in the rice fields area of the entire Lampung Province. The information obtained can be used to improve further vector control strategies.
