Fabrication, Control and Physical Stability of Liposome DPPC-DSPC-Cholesterol (Pembuatan, Kontrol dan Uji Stabilitas Fisis Liposome DPPC-DSPC-Kolestrol)
Liposome becomes more familiar in scientific field and medical applications. In the molecular biology liposome is used to transfer genetic materials. Moreover, it should be an interesting subject to study drug transfer throughout biological membrane in the cellular biology. It will also be possible to extent the application on the preparation of dosage forms. The aim of the study is to investigate physical properties (particle size) of liposomial vesicles of liposome DPPC-DSPC-Cholestrol, and their physical stability after ten days preservation. The result showed that diameter of liposomial vesicles was 661.6 nm, and became 604.5 nm after congelation in nitrogen liquid. The diameter of particle, decrased considerably, after 10, 20 and 30 minutes under ultrasonic vibration were 118.9 nm and 76.7 nm, respectively. After ten days preservation the particles diameter of loposomes increased due to the fusion of closed particles.
