The Bacteriury Caused of Urinary Tract Infection and its Resistance to the Antibiotics (Kuman Penyebab Infeksi Saluran Kemih dan Kepekaannya terhadap Antibiotika)
Thirty four urine speciment of suspected cases of urinary tract infection (34 male and 74 female) were examined. Diagnosis of bacteriury was made using clony counting method. There were 44 female and 12 male urine speciment who show positive result. Is also show that the most common cause of urinary tract infection both for male and female is Staphylococcus aureus. About 83.3 percent urinary tract infection among males is caused by Staphylococcus aureus (34.09 percent), E. coli (31.81 percent), Pseudomonas aeroginosa (9.90 percent), Acinetobacter anitratus (6.81 percent) and other gram negative baccillus. The test result also show some Staphylococcus aureus are amikasin, gentamysin, cefotoxin and cefotaxim. While for E. coli are amikasin, getamysin, nalidicsad acid and cefotaxim.
