Drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms syndrome (DRESS syndrome) or drughypersensitivity syndrome is an idiosyncratic severe adverse cutaneous drug reaction that begins acutely in the jirst two months (2-6 weeks) after initiation of drug.
