Maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is relatively high among Asean countries. The use of TBA services was regarded as one of the main cause of maternal death especially at urban areas where TBA service is still the primary priority of choice of many villagers. There are correlations between community health seeking behaviour with the local socio-cultural, economic status and community faith.
